Established in 2008 by Sara Hemeon, Elements Art Gallery showcases art and craft by local Maine artisans. Each item has been handpicked for it's quality and representation of Maine. You'll find home made soap, live edge furniture, and everything in between!
Sara opened the gallery as an outlet for her art and craft addiction. Entering art school for illustration, she came out a ceramics major. When she's not in her pottery studio, you may find her making jewelry, felting, woodburning, paper quilling, painting, or teaching one of her new obsessions. In addition to Sara's creations, the gallery now presents the work of over 50 artists and craftsman.
Starting small, Elements has expanded to a large space in a renovated 1800s cattle barn once owned by the Philbrook brothers. Nestled in the heart of Bethel's Main st., it is also home to Bethel Toys and Trendz, Community Sports, Community Sports, The Book Nook, and Little Bits Children's Consignment. It's your one stop shop whether looking for toys, preloved clothing, sports gear, or a rental for a getaway.
In 2011 Sara welcomed Ava Grace into the world. Ava has been lucky to grow up surrounded by the beauty of the gallery, the mountains, and the community. You may have the pleasure of meeting her or seeing some of her "personal touches" on the displays. Have a dog with you? No problem! Dogs are more than welcome to come in.
Open everyday, we hope to see you soon!
